Wheeldale Woolcrafts offers a range of woolly workshops, there are a maximum of six places on our friendly workshop. Homemade lunch and refreshments are included.

Beginning Feltmaking. Learn the basic techniques of felt making and take home your finished pieces. £25 per person.

3D Feltmaking. Learn the secrets of making seamless felt, create a bag and purse or a pair of slippers. £29 per person.

Make a Felt Rug. Design and make your own felt rug. £29 per person

Make a Fleece Rug. Weave your own fleece rug using a peg loom. £29 per person.

Learn to Locker Hook. Using this old method turn fleece, tops,or rugs into rugs. £29 per person.

Jumbo Knitting. Learn to knit on huge needles. Please bring your own knitting wool. £25 per person

Spinning. Come and create your own handspun yarns, using one of our spinning wheels and a drop spindle. £25 per person. Next workshop Saturday 24th August.

Rag Rug Making. Learn how to use old woollen cloth to create stunning clippy rugs. £29 per person.

Natural Dyeing. Learn the ancient craft of natural dyeing using plants and take home your dyed wool and fleece. £29 per person. .
