There are a maximum of eight places on our friendly craft courses in North Yorkshire. Homemade lunch and refreshments are included. Day workshops run between 10.30am and 4.00pm and include all materials and equipment unless otherwise stated. Half day workshops run from 10.30- 1pm. Please phone or email for more information or to book your place. If there are no dates for the workshop your are interested please contact us as we offer one to one tutition for all courses for £40 per day.

Learn the secrets of making seamless three dimensional felt. Create a bag and purse, a felt vessel or a pair of baby bootees using the three dimensional felt making technique. £29 per person.
Nuno Feltmaking. All day
Learn how combine wool and chiffon to make beautiful scarves and fabrics. £29 per person.

Make your own bouque of felt flowers to display at home, wear as jewellery or to give away as presents. £15 per person

Felt Scarf
Join us to create your own wearable felt art. Choose from our wide range of hand dyed Merino, Blue Faced Leicester and Shetland wool to create a very soft scarf and use hand dyed silk for added sparkle. £29 per person

Make a Fleece Rug/Peg Loom Weaving. Weave your own fleece cushion cover/rug using a peg loom £29 per person.
Learn to Locker Hook. Using this old method turn fleece, tops,or rgs into cushion covers, bags and rugs. £29 per person.
Rag Rug Making. Learn how to use old woollen cloth to create stunning clippy rugs. £29 per person.
Spinning. Come and create your own handspun yarns, using one of our spinning wheels and a drop spindle. Learn how to card a fleece ready for spinning and use a drop spindle. On the spinning wheel learn how to spin fleece and roving and how to ply yarn at the end of the day you will have your first skein of handspun yarn to take home with you. £29 per person.
Monday 10th May,
Learn the ancient craft of natural dyeing using plants and take home your dyed wool and fleece. The course includes mordanting wool, choosing hedgrow and garden plants for dyeing, preparing wool and plant matter for dyeing and dyeing with indigo. £35 per person.
